Go to Sleep Lady!

It's my Life No Comments »

It’s already 3:30 AM and I am still awake. Enjoying the net and checking out different nearbt resorts where our team can hold our team building. I am not sleepy yet for I slept almost the whole afternoon and the evening. I am so bad that I missed hearing the mass the today. I slept at around 4PM and I woke up and got up from bed at around 11:30PM already. My mom just woke up to drink a glass of water for it is really hot. We do not have any airconditioning unit. Well, we are abusing our 3 electric fans.

When my mother saw me still up, she asked me to go bed and have some rest. She said that I kept on complaining about my pimples, but I then, when it is my off from work, I do not take advantage of the night sleep. She also caught me eating peanuts! I have asked her to cook peanuts this afternoon. :)

She said that the best acne medication is still getting enough sleep and as much as possible eat less oily foods. Well, I told her that science have been developing different ointments and treatments to medicate acne without depriving the person from any food.

My mother just went to bed and I’ll keep browsing for different beaches near Manila.

Ciao! :)

Spongebob Ripped His Pants!

Little Antoinette No Comments »

While I am working on my online journal, my daughter asked if she can watch DVD. Ofcourse, I told her. I didn’t ask what DVD she would like to watch for I already what it would be, Spongebob Square Pants! Her tita Patty already bought her 2 sets of Spongbob DVDs. I don’t understand why she never gets tired of watching the same episodes everday.

Well, what is important to me is that when she’s watching Spongebob she is behave and her friends are unable to invite her to play outside. I found a video clip of Tonet’s favorite’s Spongebob song.

Here it goes! Enjoy..

Puting Buhangin in Quezon

Places, Quezon Province No Comments »

While I am scouting for a beach where our team can spend our team building, I found this place in Quezon which I never seen before. I know that Quezon province offers pretty and relaxing beach resorts. Little did I know that it hides a beautiful island which will really quench your island thirst. :)

According to my research, this beautiful island called Puting Buhangin, literally means White Sand can be found in Pagbilao Grande area in Pagbilao, Quezon. This sure is pure white sand beach, with crystal-clear and calm water. It is said to be a favorite place in Pagbilao during the summer months. Pagbilao is just about 4 hours from Manila. I hope that I would be able to visit this place soon. :)

Filipino Showbiz 2 Comments »

It’s Summer time! In lieu with the season, ABS-CBN launches their Summer Station ID 2010 entitled, Summer ang Simula! The station had a great fun at Boracay! Well who would not have a great fun at Boracay.. :) The girls were able to show off their flair and the boys, well, even on Sunday show they tend to show off their body! :)

“Summer ang Simula” has a connection as well, in the upcoming May 2010 elections. Watch carefully and listen attentively. This may be a “summer video” but it will give us a thought to prepare for the National elections.

A visit to Baby Johan

motherhood No Comments »

My dear friend Pinky gave birth to a healthy baby boy last January 20 of this year. Her 3 beautiful friends (Me, Daisy and Ime) decided to visit her and the new baby last Saturday. The three of us came from a night shift work and we were all sleepy. We met at Robinson’s Galleria in Ortigas and then we went to ES Transport in Cubao. We took the bus bound to Cabanatuan which will pass by Plaridel, Bulacan; our destination. It took us about an hour and a half before reaching Pinky’s house.

Baby Johan was fast asleep when we arrived. Oh he is a very handsome baby! I am so glad that he got most of his features and his skin tone from her mother Pinky. The naughty mother showed us her little one’s priceless possession! Well, this baby will not need any testosterone booster when he grows up! :)

Pinky’s mom cooked a bountiful lunch for us. My hunger has been satiate! :) The four of us talked about a lot of things. Daisy and I shared our own experiences with Pinky when we gave birth. These three are not only my friends but my sisters, too. How I miss them. :)

Before going home, Pinky’s father got us Indian mangoes from their trees. I’ve got a lot! It was heavy though, but I love to eat mangoes as well as my family. :) We’ll go back there on baby Johan’s baptism. I hope and pray that God will bless him with good health and good luck.

Colors Everywhere

Little Antoinette 3 Comments »

I noticed that my daughter enjoys working on coloring books and drawing different things. She’s only four years old but her strokes in coloring is very impressive. :) Even in computer’s, she loves a certain coloring game activity. She knows how to balance and coordinate colors! :)  I am actually saving for a colored ink for my printer. I would want to have her activities be in color printing! :)

This is one of her finest creations! :) Mommy is so proud :)

Well, I really don’t have that talent with regard to colors and arts. I believe my daughter got her talent from my aunt Evelyn and my sister, Pauline. :) She enjoys drawing different things, but not a perfect one though. I just let her enjoy her colors. Well, its just that I need to buy her drawing pads almost every week! It’s okay. Who knows she will be one of those great artist! :)

Graduation Month

Feast and Festivities No Comments »

March is said to be graduation month. Although, I graduated in the month of May when I was in college. My bestfriend’s son is graduating this month from Nursery (if I am not mistaken :) ). I am so proud of her :) . I am thinking of enrolling my daughter this coming June in a nearby pre-school and hopefully I would be able to come with a decision by then. Anyway, I cannot wait to see her go to school and wear a white toga and graduation cap after a year. I know that it will not be that easy sending a child to school. But then, when graduation comes,  I know that I would be a proud mommy! :)

To all the graduates of 2010, CONGRATULATIONS!!! Good luck and God bless you all. Remember that graduation is just the beginning of along way towards achieving your goals.  :)

Gold Wrapping Paper

Something Good No Comments »

I received this from a friend who had a choice to make. It said that I had a choice to make too. The choice are to send to other friends or not. I know that this will be able to reach a lot of people if I post it here, so I did.

The story goes that some time ago a mother punished her five year old daughter for wasting a roll of expensive gold wrapping paper. Money was tight and she became even more upset when the child used the gold paper to decorate a box to put under the Christmas tree. Nevertheless, the little girl brought the gift box to her mother the next morning and then said, “This is for you, Momma.” The mother was embarrassed by her earlier over reaction, but her anger flared again when she opened the box and found it was empty. She spoke to her daughter in a harsh manner.

“Don’t you know, young lady, when you give someone a present there’s supposed to be something inside the package?” She had tears in her eyes and said, “Oh, Momma, it’s not empty! I blew kisses into it until it was full.”

The mother was crushed. She fell on her knees and put her arms around her little girl, and she begged her forgiveness for her thoughtless anger. An accident took the life of the child only a short time later, and it is
told that the mother kept that gold box by her bed for all the years of her life.

Whenever she was discouraged or faced difficult problems she would open the box and take out an imaginary kiss and remember the love of the child who had put it there.

In a very real sense, each of us, as human beings, have been given a Golden box filled with unconditional love and kisses from our children, family, friends and GOD. There is no more precious possession anyone could hold.

I really had goosebumps while reading this email. This is very timely to me.  I hope this one did a something good for you. You are free to share this through email or post it on your site.

God loves us very much! I am holding on it for all the days of my life. :)

I was Late :(

Work Stuff No Comments »

Well, last weeks misfortune didn’t end up with a dissat. I came in late to work last Thursday because of a road accident along the fly ove C5. It’s a good thing that there was a 24 hour towing near the area and the affected vehicles have been moved to safety. The traffic though wasn’t as heavy as C5 traffic but I was still late. :(

That was actually my second time being late since I work at Dell. The first time was after the typhoon Ondoy, where I needed to walk from Rosario to Eastwood. That was sometime in September. The second time was last Thursday. :(

Well, at the end of the week, God still blessed me with a good sale which made me met total solution’s weekly target. He blessed me a system sale! Thanks be to God! :)

My week just started and so far everything has been good. I hope and I pray that the good fortune will continue to come. Amen.

A Dissat

Work Stuff No Comments »

Last week has not been that good for me. Well, I have been worrying about my sales revenue but I somehow overlooked the most important thing of all in my work. My manager told me last Friday that I received a survey with a neutral score. I really felt bad about it. I have been in the production floor almost 5 months now and this is the first time that I received a neutral score. We checked on the comment and the factors that affects customer’s dissatisfaction was the delay in shipping the parts and incomplete parts sent. I talked about this with my manager and he said that I can still catch up with my CE score since the month is just starting.

With that incident, I realized that the customer satisfaction is still the number priority in my work. I may not be a good seller though, but I know that I will be able to give our customer’s the best service that I can.

I hope and I pray that I would still be able to catch up with my CE score. I know that I can give an excellent customer service to our customers. Bless me God..Amen.

Well not in the Philippines. Although, the country us experiencing terrible hot weather lately, there are many states in the US which are experiencing winter storm. People must have been using different electric blanket to keep themselves warm. At work, I have been receiving calls with regard to delayed shipments due to the bad weather conditions in there. I just hope that sooner or later they will have a pretty fine weather already.

Wireless Broadband

lifestyle 1 Comment »

My sister Pauline needed to download a thousand pictures last night. We borrowed ate Susan wireless broadband so she can work on her homework over night. We are using Sun Internet. There are few moments of downtime but the connection as a whole is satisfactory. While it is still here, I am taking advantage of it! :)

Patty and I are planning to get one for our own. But, we are still looking checking if we will be getting a Sun Broadband or we would consider Smart or Globe Tattoo. Your feedbacks about these different Wireless Broadband providers will be much appreciated! :)
