Beach Outing for Team Building: Zambales Area

Places No Comments »

My on of team mates suggested Zambales. He said that the province offers white sand beaches as well. My mother told me that Zambales has the finest beach. She was able to visit one of the resorts there. I did a little research about the different beaches that Zambales can offer. The travel time from Manila to Zambales is around 5-6 hours. It’s the same lenght of time that we spend on the bus when we go to our hometown in Quezon! :)

The first beach that I was able to find is the Potipot Gateway Resort. My sister told me that it is their next destination. I checked on their virtual image and found the place very relaxing. Well, for me any resort will do as long as it is a beach resort. The beach makes me feel relax and calm. Oh, I need to go to the beach!

I cheked the rates and if you have the budget then go for it! Nevertheless, I will still include this one to the list that I will present to my team.

Potipot Gateway Resort

Another option that I got for Zambales area is the White Castle Beach Resort in Iba. The good thing about this resort is the walking distance from Iba Public Market. Should we need anything then the market will be easy to reach. The rates are very affordable! :) There is no swimming pool though, but the resort offers billiards, dart and saloon where the guest can sing. :)

White Castle Resort

The last but not the least option is the Dawal Beach Resort in Barrera St. Uacon, Candelaria, Zambales. The resort’s rates are very affordable. I believe our team budget will fit here. Aside from that, the resort offers swimming pool, Restaurant & Videoke Bar, Massage Service and Game facilities: Basketball, Volleyball, Billiards, Table Tennis.

I hope the team will be able pick one from my research. I cannot wait for our outing at the beach! :)

Beach Outing for Team Building: Sariaya Area

Places, Quezon Province 2 Comments »

Remember my post about the white sand Island(Puting Buhangin) in Quezon? Since there is no resort established there yet, I found a resort where the team can stay and then enjoy a boat ride going to the Island. I just hope they would consider the travel time which is approximately 4 hours from Manila. :)

The beach resort I found is a newly built resort in Sariaya Quezon. It is called Marina Beach Resort. It offers a very affordable rates. I can say that guests will not get bored because, aside from the sea, the resort offers a swimming pool as well. It also offers other activities to do such as boating, fishing, playing volleyball and horse back riding. Wow! I will definitely include this in my list! :)

Marina Azul Beach Resort

Another interesting resort in Sariaya is the Blue Bay Waters Resort. The resort also offers different activities which will make the guests’ stay a memorable one. I checked their rates and it is fair enough. I took a glimpse on their virtual tour and you bet it’s beautiful!

I checked on the site and it is very cozy. It offers swimming pools as well and their rates are competitive.

Well, these are just 3 on the list. I still have to presents few more beach resorts and hopefully we’ll be able to agreed on one of theses, for us to be able to plan as early as possible.

Go to Sleep Lady!

It's my Life No Comments »

It’s already 3:30 AM and I am still awake. Enjoying the net and checking out different nearbt resorts where our team can hold our team building. I am not sleepy yet for I slept almost the whole afternoon and the evening. I am so bad that I missed hearing the mass the today. I slept at around 4PM and I woke up and got up from bed at around 11:30PM already. My mom just woke up to drink a glass of water for it is really hot. We do not have any airconditioning unit. Well, we are abusing our 3 electric fans.

When my mother saw me still up, she asked me to go bed and have some rest. She said that I kept on complaining about my pimples, but I then, when it is my off from work, I do not take advantage of the night sleep. She also caught me eating peanuts! I have asked her to cook peanuts this afternoon. :)

She said that the best acne medication is still getting enough sleep and as much as possible eat less oily foods. Well, I told her that science have been developing different ointments and treatments to medicate acne without depriving the person from any food.

My mother just went to bed and I’ll keep browsing for different beaches near Manila.

Spongebob Ripped His Pants!

While I am working on my online journal, my daughter asked if she can watch DVD. Ofcourse, I told her. I didn’t ask what DVD she would like to watch for I already what it would be, Spongebob Square Pants! Her tita Patty already bought her 2 sets of Spongbob DVDs. I don’t understand why she never gets tired of watching the same episodes everday.

Well, what is important to me is that when she’s watching Spongebob she is behave and her friends are unable to invite her to play outside. I found a video clip of Tonet’s favorite’s Spongebob song.

Here it goes! Enjoy..

Puting Buhangin in Quezon

Places, Quezon Province No Comments »

While I am scouting for a beach where our team can spend our team building, I found this place in Quezon which I never seen before. I know that Quezon province offers pretty and relaxing beach resorts. Little did I know that it hides a beautiful island which will really quench your island thirst. :)

According to my research, this beautiful island called Puting Buhangin, literally means White Sand can be found in Pagbilao Grande area in Pagbilao, Quezon. This sure is pure white sand beach, with crystal-clear and calm water. It is said to be a favorite place in Pagbilao during the summer months. Pagbilao is just about 4 hours from Manila. I hope that I would be able to visit this place soon. :)

Filipino Showbiz 2 Comments »

It’s Summer time! In lieu with the season, ABS-CBN launches their Summer Station ID 2010 entitled, Summer ang Simula! The station had a great fun at Boracay! Well who would not have a great fun at Boracay.. :) The girls were able to show off their flair and the boys, well, even on Sunday show they tend to show off their body! :)

“Summer ang Simula” has a connection as well, in the upcoming May 2010 elections. Watch carefully and listen attentively. This may be a “summer video” but it will give us a thought to prepare for the National elections.

Enjoy!

A visit to Baby Johan

motherhood No Comments »

My dear friend Pinky gave birth to a healthy baby boy last January 20 of this year. Her 3 beautiful friends (Me, Daisy and Ime) decided to visit her and the new baby last Saturday. The three of us came from a night shift work and we were all sleepy. We met at Robinson’s Galleria in Ortigas and then we went to ES Transport in Cubao. We took the bus bound to Cabanatuan which will pass by Plaridel, Bulacan; our destination. It took us about an hour and a half before reaching Pinky’s house.

Baby Johan was fast asleep when we arrived. Oh he is a very handsome baby! I am so glad that he got most of his features and his skin tone from her mother Pinky. The naughty mother showed us her little one’s priceless possession! Well, this baby will not need any testosterone booster when he grows up! :)

Pinky’s mom cooked a bountiful lunch for us. My hunger has been satiate! :) The four of us talked about a lot of things. Daisy and I shared our own experiences with Pinky when we gave birth. These three are not only my friends but my sisters, too. How I miss them. :)

Before going home, Pinky’s father got us Indian mangoes from their trees. I’ve got a lot! It was heavy though, but I love to eat mangoes as well as my family. :) We’ll go back there on baby Johan’s baptism. I hope and pray that God will bless him with good health and good luck.

Ciao! :)
