Every payday is our market day. My mother and I used to go to the market to buy our food that usually last for about 10 days. I love going with her to the market. Although, it’s not as comfortable there compared to mall’s supermarket, the money you have would really go a long way. 
Since, she did the laundry this morning, she can’t go with me to the market. She said that I should be in-charge of today’s “market day” and my youngest sister will be the one to accompany me.
I told my mother that I am that familiar in our city’s public market. She told me that I’ll remember how to go to different from one section to another when we get there. We can’t postpone our “market day” for tomorrow because we have there’s no more food left in the fridge. So, off we go to the market. First we went to the vegetable section. I really love going to the market because its really cheaper there compared to the mall(of course!). There are a lot of choices! You can also save a lot of money when you buy items in wholesale !

We got our favorite vegetable for chopseuy and pinakbet. We also got a tray of eggs and half dozen of salty eggs. We went to meat section also and got some kilos of chicken and pork. My sister laugh at me often because I always asked the vendor for some freebies! Of course, I’m just kidding!

My sister and I had a lot of fun! When we got home, I told my mother that although we enjoyed it, I still prefer her to be in charge in going to the market.
