I had a really bad colds last Wednesday. It was our annual company Christmas party and I am part of the band who will sing while the employees are having their dinner. We’ve been practicing so hard for our presentation. And when the big day came, oh my I have colds. I was nervous because, I might not be able to sing well. I might not even hit the tone right.
So, before our turn, I kept on praying that God would take my colds away even for that moment so I can perform well. And that He sings with me. When our coordinator called us to prepare our selves and waited at the back stage for our turn, I still having difficulty breathing.
Bu the moment I stepped on the stage, my colds gone. I can breath well. I am confident that I will be able to hit the tones right. Praise God!
When our number is done, the minute I stepped down the stage, I felt my nose started clogging again. Well, whatever other people may think or say, I know that God worked on me then.

It’s been a while since I have updated my online diary. Well, I have been very busy in the last days because of our presentation for our Christmas party. I also took advantage of the “huge sales” from different companies for my Christmas lists. It was really a tiring week last week. Infact, I still have flu but I reported to work today. I had been absent from work for 2 days.
When I was young, I always look forward to seeing the giant Christmas which stood somewhere in Araneta Center. My parents never fail to bring us there. It was like Christmas is not complete without admiring the big tree and watching the COD Christmas display. How simple Christmas is being celebrated then.
I was very excited when I learned that I will be able to see this year’s Giant Christmas tree. But then, I got disappointed when I saw it. It seems like they put the tree for the sake of the yearly “tradition”. I can’t find the “heart” that they place in it, like in the past years. When I first saw it, I just told myself, “so this is the giant Christmas tree”. I felt sad. Maybe because, it was not the tree which I expected it to be. Anyway, I still took some pictures with it. I and my friend O were crossing the connecting bridge from Gateway Mall to Farmer’s for MRT ride when he took the picture.
Maybe, the trees may differ from one year to another, but I hope that the tradition goes on. Until the day, when my great-grand children push my wheelchair for me to reminisce my good old Christmas holidays!
