A Girl’s Notebook :)

Christmas is my favorite season of the year. The cold season, the beautiful decors and the wonderful lights you will find on the street and in every house. It is also the time wherein people smiles more often than they used to. It is also the season where you can find sale from almost every store.

I really love going to different bizarre and bargain hopping. Well, if you will only be that patient in going to stores whether it is an online store or not, you will be able to find low-priced items which are of good quality.

I am just waiting for our bonus and I will really indulge myself on bargain hunting.

I am blessed with the talent of singing. I have been singing in different occasions before in the church and in weddings. But I have not shared my gift to the company I have been working for more than 5 years. Then, my friends and colleagues asked me to perform in our annual Christmas party this year. I agreed to be one of the performers. We may never know but this might be my last Christmas party here in this company.

And, so I prepare my song. I intend to sing Woman in Love which was originally sang by Barbara Streisand. But then, one of the musicians said that he doesn’t like the song and so I ended up preparing for singing Bleeding Love by Leona Lewis.

Part of the preparation for that performance is the clothes that I will wear. This year’s theme is Vegas. I intend to wear just a simple black cocktail dress and I will just embellish it with rhinestone. I found some patterns on the net which I will give my aunt who is a dressmaker and who will make my dress. But then I got one problem left. I really gained weight when I got pregnant about 3 years ago. My body was not as slim as petite as it was.

The big day is just about 3 weeks to go. I really need to have a crash diet and hopefully might lose unwanted fats. My friend said that I can have Orovo on the side to attain the weight I intend to have before the party. Hopefully I will!
