I will take you from the nations, and gather you from all the countries, and bring you into your own land. I will sprinkle clean water upon you, and you shall be clean from all your uncleannesses, and from all your idols I will cleanse you.
I’m not feeling well today, I have bad colds. I’m not emotionally okay as well, and I have this song playing at the back of my mind..
How can I tell you that I love you, I love you
But I can’t think of right words to say
I long to tell you that I’m always thinking of you
I’m always thinking of you, but my words
Just blow away
It always ends up to one thing, honey
And I can’t think of right words to say
Wherever I am boy,
I’m always walking with you
I’m always walking with you,
But I look and you’re not there
Whoever I’m with,
I’m always, always talking to you
I’m always talking to you, and I’m sad that you can’t hear,
Sad that you can’t hear
It always ends up to one thing, honey,
When I look and you’re not there
I need to know you,
Need to feel my arms around you
Feel my arms around you
Like a sea around a shore
And - each night and day I pray
In hope that I might find you
In hope that I might find you
Because heart’s can do no more
It always ends up to one thing honey,
Still I kneel upon the floor
How can I tell you that I love you, I love you
But I can’t think of right words to say
I long to tell you that I’m always thinking of you
I’m always thinking of you..
It always ends up to one thing honey
And I can’t think of right words to say..
Today, August 21, the Philippines is celebrating the 25th Death Anniversary of our modern day hero, Benigno Aquino Jr. Ninoy as the Filipino folks call him, was shot on his head and died at the tarmac of the then Manila International Airport on August 21, 1983.
His death was led to a people power revolution and made the Philippines free from Martial Law under the 20-year presidency of Ferdinand Marcos. Up to this day, the mastermind of his assisination 25 years ago is still unknown. Although, there are a lot of speculations that it could be his political rival. Well, we don’t know.
We can recall what Ninoy said that “Filipinos are worth dying for”. Like our national hero, Jose Rizal, he fought for freedom and justice for the Filipinos.
After 25 years, has his death brings difference to our country? Do we still value the sacrfice he did for us? I was listening to the news the other day, and people were asked if they know Ninoy Aquino. Some said that his face is the on our 500-peso bill. Some said that he was the father of well known host, Kris Aquino. Other said that he was assasinated. But do we really know the essence of his death?
Looking at ourselves today, can we say that we Filipinos are still worth dying for?

Ninoy Aquino
It hurts to love someone and not be loved in return, but what is more painful is to love someone and never find the courage to let that person know how you feel.
