When I got up from bed at around 7PM today, I heard the news about Philippines’ master rapper, Francis Magalona. I was shocked when I learned that he has Leukemia. It was known to public through the official statement read by his Eat Bulaga co-host, Vic Sotto. Francis M. who popularized the songs such as Mga Kababayan Ko and Kaleidoscope World is being treated now at The Medical City in Pasig City. The news said that about 50 people donated blood for him which he will needed for his medication. Rosa Rosal, head of Philippine Red Cross said that they will be definitely help Francis. Rosa Rosal is the mother of Toni Rose Gaida, who is one of Francis’ good friend and co-host in Eat Bulaga.

I felt like singing yesterday for it makes me feel good inside. The past days had been very stressful emotionally, financially and intellectually. Singing is an outlet for me. And so I asked my dear friend O, who loves singing like me, to drop by Power Station and just sing in my of its videoke rooms after work.
I sang Almost over You by Sheena Easton. Why? Well, a few days back I decided to forget and let go this “unwanted” feeling. I told myself that it’s just an infatuation and the love I have for ney is so deep and incomparable.
I also sang Love Makes No Promise by Candi, which is my all time favorite song. Does really love makes no promises? I believe so. If you love, just love and enjoy the feeling of being in love and loving someone. Forget about the fears of getting hurt for no one falls in love without being hurt. So why fall in love? Its power is so strong that you’ll never win, no matter how hard you resist it.
Of course, Very Special Love is a song that everybody’s singing right now. Why? Who wouldn’t sing it? It’s the theme song of Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd Cruz’s first movie team up. I have not seen the movie yet but I will definitely watch it!
The last song I sang which I sang twice (Hehehe!) was Love of A Lifetime by Firehouse. When I get married, this will be our song. Honey and I love this song. I can say that inspite of everything that has happened, I will still want to spend the rest of my life with Tata, my honey and the dearest father of my beautiful daughter, Antoinette. I can say that inspite of the infatuation I had for , I still won’t give up whatever Tata and I had. I can say that inspite of all, he is my one love of a lifetime.
It’s santol season once more. When I got home yesterday, I saw a Santol vendor and I bought 2 big Santol for myself. It’s so sour! I even I asked my mother to cook “bagoong” for me.
Oh no, I’m not pregnant. I just love this fruit! It’s really mouth watering J
