A Girl’s Notebook :)

It may have been 3 days already since the 2008 Olympics has been final open. Yet many people still can’t get over with its grandous and fabulous opening. It started at exactly 8:08 PM, Aug. 8, 2008. Thousands of Chinese performers participated in the event showcasing China’s culture and traditions. I bet, whole world’s eyes are all tuned in on the middle kingdom on that time!

So the rings were raised..

and the flame has been lighted! Olympics 2008 is finally open!

St. Gabriel is the bearer of God’s secret messages to His chosen ones. He is the angel who announced to the Blessed Virgin Mary of God’s plan for her to be the Mother of His Son, Jesus Christ.

PRAYER: St. Gabriel, Holy Archangel, you who are known as the bearer of God’s secrets meant specially for His chosen ones, we, God’s children are constantly keeping watch on God’s message. Through your powerful intercession, may we receive God’s words and messages so that together with Mary, our Blessed Mother, we may give glory and praise to Him. May we also radiate God’s love to others by our exemplary deeds. Oh, St. Gabriel, obtain for us the grace and present to the Father the following requests… through Jesus Christ our Lord together with the Holy Spirit forever and ever, Amen.
