A Girl’s Notebook :)

I wasn’t able to continue writing about our dear Archangels. I started out with Archangel Raphael which I have posted in last Tuesday. Archangel Raphael is the angel assigned to look over people who were born on Tuesday. There are 6 more Archangels more the other days of the week. I know that not all of us the day when we were born. Of course we know the date of our birthday, but we don’t exactly know what day of the week it is. I’m still researching for the Perpetual Calendar wherein you may be able to know the day of the week that you were born by simply typing your birth date.

Since today is Sunday, I have here Archangel Michael (Prince of the Heavenly Host).

St. Michael, The Archangel, is the Commander-In-Chief of all the hierarchies of the Heavenly Hosts. He is usually known as the angel who defeated Lucifer and his followers in the first rebellion of creatures against God. He is the first defender of Jesus in His sacred humanity and of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the Mystery of the Incarnation. He is usually associated with the miracles manifesting the almighty power of God with the Blessed Virgin Mary.

PRAYER: O Mighty Prince of Heavenly Hosts, St. Michael, we beg you to protect and defend us in all our struggles against everyday temptations in this world. Help us to overcome all evils and strengthen us, that we may declare our faith in and loyalty to the Most High so that together with all the angels and saints in heaven we may glorify the Lord. St. Michael please intercede for us together with the Blessed Virgin Mary, and obtain for us the following requests… Present to God, the Father of all petitions through Jesus Christ, our Lord together with the Holy Spirit forever and ever, Amen.

Some washers will turn off automatically if the clothes aren’t balanced. Rearrange them and push the button to start again.

The long paper bags that dry cleansers use to cover cleaned clothes make wonderful ironing board protectors. Slip a bag over the folded ironing board before storing away.

It is better for a computer circuit to be turned on and let on for the day than turned off many times. Each time you turn on a computer you have a surge of power going through it. So, the fewer turn-ons the better.

Cats are not human. No matter how much they may seem to be at times. Never give a cat a medicine intended for a person. It is generally well known that aspirin is toxic to cats but aspirin substitute are even more dangerous and cat will be fatal. Do not give a cat any medication without a veterinarian’s advice.

So, this is the picture of Brad and Angelina’s twins that People mag paid for $15 M!  You will see in the cover’s inset, their biological sister, Shiloh, holding her new sister.

So good to see them together!

According to news, the Oscar-winning actor, Morgan Freeman has been discharged from the hospital, last August. He’s been confined after the weekend accident in Mississippi. I wonder if Morgan is disturbed following his pending divorce with wife,  Myrna Colley-Lee, of 24 years.
